Garage Remote Match is a static website. The model search runs entirely in your browser.

Analytics (only with your consent)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages help visitors find the right remote, but only if you choose “Accept analytics” in our cookie banner. Until you accept, Google’s analytics script is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. Google Consent Mode is set to deny analytics and advertising storage by default.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and records pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, and two site events: when a page shows a verified compatible remote for your opener, and when you click an Amazon link (with the brand, opener model and remote model involved). Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, and advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalization stay denied.

Your choice

Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask on every page. You can change it at any time with “Cookie preferences” in the site footer. Rejecting stops analytics and removes the Google Analytics cookies we can access. Clearing your browser’s site data also resets the choice.

Amazon links

When you follow an Amazon link, Amazon’s own privacy policy and cookies apply on Amazon’s site.

We do not run advertising scripts on this site. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it before anything loads.
